About Me

Xavier is an emerging theatre designer and technician based in Southern Alberta, he is pursing a BFA in Dramatic Arts Tech and Design at the University of Lethbridge with plans to graduate in Spring of 2024.

He is a lighting designer at heart working on several shows both at the University and outside of the university, such as Seussified Christmas Carol, Dumbwaiter (University of Lethbridge) The Sound of Music (Little Lethbridge Opera Company/Lethbridge Symphony) Zauber (Roy Hart Theatre). He has not been known to shy away from working in other areas of production and design however doing production design on a portion of TomorrowLove (University of Lethbridge) and shadow theatre design on The Little Prince (University of Lethbridge)

On top of his design experience Xavier also has a strong technical background having worked on many lighting hangs and spent many hours in a scene shop constructing sets for shows. As well as experiance in leadership positions such as working on the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show as a crew chief and serving as the technical director for TheatreXtra, a student run theatre company at the University of Lethbridge that focuses on producing new student written work in a student driven environment.
